Aliana Alani has been a visual artist for over twenty years. Starting with oils and pastels, doing figure and portrait commissions, she gradually found herself moving into the realm of dreams and inner visions, retaining her love of colour and light throughout the transition. She now works primarily with acrylics.
- Originally from Canada, Aliana lived in Ireland for a number of years where her fascination with the myth and history of the green found a home within her paintings. She has done a series of such canvases, each with a narrative Irish Celtic theme. She has shown and sold her work in Canada and in Ireland, both privately and in group and one-woman shows. Though usually focusing on her own painting themes, she will occasionally take on commission orders, often with a feng shui focus.
- Prices traditionally range from €500 – €3500, though all the paintings listed here are presently on sale at reduced rates and most are in Ireland. Sizes range from 50cm x 50 cm to 3ft x 5ft.
